The East Grand Rapids Community Foundation was established in 2000 by the East Grand Rapids City Commission as a long-term community outreach vehicle to protect and enhance the qualities that make East Grand Rapids a unique community. From service projects conducted by scouting troops to major capital campaigns for public-use facilities, the EGR Community Foundation is available to assist those projects that make East Grand Rapids "A Better Place To Live."
