The EGRCF identifies worthwhile projects in our community that are often outside the scope or scale of the city's official budget. In the future, the EGRCF will accept grant applications from community groups, committees, scouting troops and service organizations. Projects may range from public service messages to major improvements to public facilities and everything in between.
Since inception, the majority of funds collected by the EGRCF are earmarked for specific projects. In these cases, The Foundation acts as a conduit for funds, collecting tax-deductible gifts and donations. Because we are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, all donations and gifts are tax-deductible under guidelines set forth for charitable giving.
| Past Projects Since its inception in 2000, the East Grand Rapids Community Foundation has helped raise funds for some very exciting projects. Visit this page for details, photos and more information about these additions to East Grand Rapids. | Future Projects There are more exciting projects on the horizon. In addition to our campaign to raise money for a permanent endowment fund, there are several wonderful additions to the community on the horizon. |
